Photography Contest (Grades 4-7)
Contest mechanics:
Technical Excellence Clarity and quality of photograph 30%

1. All Grade
4-7 CSA students/photography enthusiasts may join the contest.
2. Photos for
the contest must be taken during the Grade 7 Cosplay event on Nov. 14, 2012 GS Covered Court from 7:40
onwards.
3. The
photograph must depict the theme of the contest, highlighting the value of
reading and libraries in society.
4. All entries
must be in print form (size of printouts of their photographs in A4 size
or 8.27”x11.69”)
5. Each
photographer can only submit one entry
6. Photographs must be labeled at the back of the entry:

7.
All entries must be an original material taken by the
photographer and should not include watermarks, signatures, frames, date and/or
time stamp or any other markings on the photo.
8.
Digital manipulation is not allowed.
Enhancements must be limited to basic post-processing such as adjustments of
contrast, minimal color-balancing, sharpening, cropping, and dodging and
burning.
9.
The school respects the rights of the photographer and
recognizes that the copyright of the photograph belongs to the photographer.
Nonetheless, by participating in the contest, the photographer shares his/her
copyright to the school within the duration of one year after the
contest. CSA Makati will give appropriate credit whenever the photo is
published and used by the school for the purpose of information, advocacy,
campaigns and promotions in all its future projects, whether print, online, or
any other medium.
10. All entries
must be submitted on or before November
19.
11. The
criteria for judging the photograph are as follows:

13. Decisions
